A place for art and culture. Following extensive renovation work, the old horse stable in Fahren has become a place of well-being and a meeting place. The cultural association uses the excellent indoor and outdoor infrastructure for its various events.
The old stables in Fahren - a stable full of possibilities. The old horse stable is a preserved part of the old estate in Fahren. The original character of the old brick building has been retained both inside and out, even after extensive renovation work. Lovingly restored, with many small original details, it has become an authentic meeting place for art, culture and leisure. The cultural association "Alter Pferdestall Fahren" e.V. is a non-profit association for the promotion of art, culture and education in rural areas in the West Mecklenburg region. It regularly organizes events such as readings, concerts, jam sessions, clothes swaps and flea markets, film evenings, karaoke, Advent sing-alongs and much more. When the cultural association is not using this idyllically situated and lovingly restored location for its events, it can be rented for weddings, family celebrations, company events or as vacation accommodation with spacious rooms for groups and/or families. Fahren is conveniently located, just 3 km from the Zurow highway exit: off the beaten track in the countryside, but still close by.
