This short canoe tour takes you through the beautiful nature of the Müritz National Park. The starting point is Käbelicksee in Kratzeburg. You can use your own canoe there or hire a boat from a rental company. Ask for detailed advice there, especially about the rules of conduct and navigation in the nature reserve, or use the information boards at the launching point. Cross the Käbelicksee to the south, past the small islands (no trespassing!) and then look out for the green buoy indicating the entrance to the Havel. Paddle for about 1.5 kilometers on clear water and along water lilies, cross under a small bridge and finally reach the Granziner See. This may only be paddled along the green buoys, which also mark the entrance to the Havel. After a few meters, you will reach a rest area for water hikers on the right-hand side of the river. Discover the idyllic village of Granzin. A pottery farm with coffee and cake as well as an Italian restaurant invite you to stop for refreshments and to linger before you set off on your canoe back home.
