During the summer vacations, the Schwerin Nature Conservation Station opens its doors for you in the first and last two weeks of your vacation, come and experience nature together!
We look forward to a colorful summer with you! Come on a single day or on several days.

Wild summer
Mon., 25.08.2025
Topic: The world of bees with beekeeper Ronald *
Age group: 8 - 10 years
Time: 9 - 12 o'clock
Program: We visit the apiary and learn interesting facts about wild bees, wasps and hornets through play.
Tue., 26.08.2025
Topic: Wild or cuddly?
Age group: 4 - 7 years
Time: 9 am - 12 pm
Program: All about the mammals of Germany, with a small discovery hunt.
Cost: 5€
Fri., 29.08.2025
Topic: Silent giants
Age group: 4 - 7 years
Time: 10 am - 1 pm
Meeting point: At the zoo
Program: It's all about trees and we go to the nature conservation station together.
An accompanying adult is required for each event; unless otherwise stated, the cost contribution is €2 per participant and must be paid on site. Please remember to wear clothing suitable for the weather (incl. headgear, rain jacket), long pants, sturdy shoes, food for the break and protection against ticks, sun and mosquitoes. Afterwards, a relaxing end to the day on the beach is recommended.

Program: We build touch boxes together and create a small species handbook.
Tue., 02.09.2025
Topic: Studio in the open air
Age group: 6 - 12 years
Time: 9.30 - 12 o'clock
Program: We will work artistically in the garden in various ways.
Cost: 5€
Wed., 03.09.2025
Topic: Silent giants
Age group: 8 - 10 years
Time: 10 am - 1 pm

Topic: There's something going on at the lake
Age group: 4 - 7 years
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Program: Playfully discover and learn to protect nature by the lake.

Topic: Shore detectives in action
Age group: 8 - 11 years
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Program: Explore, understand and protect the shore zone.
Registration until: 24.08.25
