Vredeländer Wiehnacht 2025 - Christmas with heart in Friedland
As the second weekend of Advent approaches, Friedland once again smells of mulled wine, fir trees and anticipation: from Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7, 2025, the "Vredeländer Wiehnacht" invites you to marvel, enjoy and celebrate in and around the Volkshaus.
The Christmas magic begins on Friday with an atmospheric walk by the daycare centers from Friedländer Marktplatz to the festively decorated Volkshausgarten. There, the little Christmas artists will take over the stage and make eyes light up with their songs and performances - for young and old alike. On Saturday, the magic also spreads to the town museum and the MPSB locomotive hall.
On all three days, you can expect a Christmas program that will make even the Grinch smile - with cheerful music, fragrant treats, twinkling lights, children's laughter, mulled wine, punch and so much craftsmanship that even Santa Claus would be amazed.
The music gets hot - on Friday the mulled wine dances with NEON and Acoustic Pro, on Saturday the Peter Maffay double rocks the St. Nicholas party and on Sunday the club and flea Christmas market provides a cozy finale full of small and big surprises.
