Dr. Sebastian Ansorge reports on his participation in the "Race Across America", one of the toughest endurance competitions in the world. In his presentation, he gives an insight into the medical, logistical and psychological challenges of a non-stop bike race covering 5,000 kilometers and 52,000 meters of altitude. He will shed light on the demanding preparation, team spirit and strategies for performing under extreme conditions. The event will take place on September 22, 2025 at 19:00 in the Haus des Gastes, Baltic health spa Graal-Müritz.
Admission free | During the evening, a donation will be requested for the project "Ärzte bewegen e. V. - Support through sport at the limit".
"Ärzte bewegen e. V. - Support through sport at the limit" is a non-profit association registered in Rostock in 2017 (Rostock Registry Court, VR 10501), which is dedicated to promoting sport and exercise - especially in extreme situations - within the framework of a small number of employees and seeks support and donations for this purpose.
