A book reading with Nikita Afanasjew

The Rein(ge)lesen bookshop is delighted to welcome journalist Nikita Afanasjew to Parchim once again! On Thursday, 16.10.2025 he will read from his current book "Sputnik" at 7 pm in the Irish Pub

Tickets are only available from the Rein(ge)lesen bookshop! If you are coming from out of town, please let us know and we will send you the tickets by post.

About the book:

Leo Pushkin is a reporter. He lives for the day, likes to treat himself to a sip of Baikal vodka with his homemade caviar and doesn't get involved in anything, especially not a good one. One day, when he is commissioned to infiltrate the Kremlin's foreign broadcaster, Leo manages a spectacular piece of research - but his employer, a renowned newspaper from Berlin, doesn't want to print his story. In order not to go crazy, Leo writes his story down as a "novel". Here it is.
