The company Tageswerk gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) is a non-profit organization with the task of creating and operating a cultural-social meeting and living space for people with disabilities.Our work consists of supporting people in need of assistance in the implementation of their daily structure and living situation, in the exercise of their participation in social and cultural life and their artistic and creative ideas. Integration and inclusion are central themes of our work.
Inclusion requires openness, tolerance and cooperation. Inclusion requires living spaces and must always take place locally. One of Tageswerk gUG's particular concerns and aspirations is to open up access to society for people with special needs through integrative opportunities, thereby enabling them to realistically participate in life.
The concept of inclusion describes a society in which everyone is accepted and can participate equally and self-determinedly - regardless of gender, age or origin, religious affiliation or education, any disabilities or other individual characteristics.
We have been trying to put this concept, this idea, into practice for 11 years.
Working together and living together essentially describes what we do. In our work, we meet each other as people. Nothing more and nothing less. Everyone accomplishes their daily work in their own way within the community.
