Uwe Steimle, the well-known cabaret artist from Saxony, is not only known for his sharp-tongued political commentary, but also for his love of the Saxon dialect. One word that he repeatedly uses humorously in his new program is "Nu", a small but complex word that exemplifies Saxon linguistic culture - depending on the tone of voice, it can express agreement, doubt or even irony. Steimle cleverly uses "Nu" to make pointed observations about the mentality of the Saxons and to illustrate their pragmatic, sometimes idiosyncratic humor.
