The "Kröpeliner Mühle" e. V. association cordially invites you to a special musical event: On the occasion of the town twinning with the town of Hude, the talented Hude artist Arndt Baeck will come to the mill to give two concerts. These events will take place in honor of the 91st birthday of the legendary Udo Jürgens and are entitled "The world needs songs - a cream program from an honorable home".
The name says it all: Arndt Baeck, a pianist and singer known far beyond the region's borders, will present a selection from the varied repertoire of the great chansonnier and entertainer Udo Jürgens. He interprets both well-known and lesser-known songs with a great deal of love and dedication, transporting his audience into a musical world reminiscent of the great singer-songwriters.
Baeck will charmingly moderate between the songs and shed light on the special features and stories behind the songs. From the very first moment, he creates a personal feel-good atmosphere that can be felt even on the biggest stage. These concerts are a respectful homage to the work of Udo Jürgens, without any attempt to copy the unique musician.
