Through dream and time: neo- and romantic music for guitar with Stefan Grasse.
The internationally successful guitarist Stefan Grasse promises a serenade of dusk, through dream and time. The program includes romantic music by Tárrega, Beethoven, Chopin and Satie as well as his own neo-classical compositions.
Grasse shapes this music into a concert experience reminiscent of a quiet summer evening on the beach. Floating tones that play with the translucent blue of the sky like the pastel-colored light of the setting sun.
Excerpt from the program:
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827): Moonlight Sonata - Adagio sostenuto
Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849): Nocturno Op. 9 No. 2
Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909): Asturias
Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909): Capricho Árabe (Serenata)
Erik Satie (1866-1925): Gymnopédie/Gnossienne
