The "Sound of the Stumbling Stones" is an annual event to commemorate the Pogrom Night and the Holocaust, which was initiated in Jena.
This year it is taking place in the cities of SCHWAAN, GERA, JENA, WEIMAR, BAD KÖSTRITZ, NAUMBURG and for the third time in ROSTOCK.
Small concerts will be held at the memorial stones at Altschmiedestr. 26, Kröpeliner Str. 83 and 98, Lange Str. 7/8 and 15 and Neuer Markt 1 at 5.45 pm. At 6.15 pm, "Dos Kelbl" (Yiddish song) will be sung together.
Next year, music will be played at other Denkstein locations in Rostock. We are looking for musicians to take part. We are also looking for supervisors and organizational talents.
