Philip Richert and Daniel Stickan perform recitals that are out of the ordinary.
A pianist who has studied classical music and jazz meets an actor who brings the hall to a boil with rock bands and the next day conjures up serious spoken theater on the Lüneburg stages. Both are united by an enthusiasm for the offbeat, sophisticated, virtuosic, energetic and touching in music, which draws on rock, pop, jazz, chanson and songwriting. And so their evenings are densely packed with virtuoso high-speed music and breathless floods of lyrics, beautifully naive ballads, political songs and deadly sad melancholy. How it is all held together: By two strong personalities who understand their craft, take their audience seriously and want to touch and inspire anew every evening.
