The band's namesake Frank Rihm from Bremen on harmonica and vocals makes the words of old master Big Bill Broonzy his own: "Blues is something completely natural, something you live. If you don't live it, you don't have it." His vocal expression is convincing and he plays the blues magnificently: sometimes loud and crashing, sometimes quiet and soulful, with a great love of extended harmonica solos and a fine groove.
Pianist Miller shovels out the fast, richly pumping bass lines that boogie-woogie fans love so much, en masse. He also knows how to skillfully balance the very fast, energetic tracks with soulful, harmonically complex blues pieces. He is also at home in swing. The voice of the Berlin-based pianist has a captivating power and authenticity. K. C. Miller was honored with the Piano Soloist Award!
The multiple German Blues Award winner Andreas Bock from Jeinsen near Hanover on drums compliments this energetic trio with his joy of playing and great expression. Here you can experience the blues drums in all their diversity and understand why the drums are also known as the motor of a band.
Together, the three experts bring the blues, boogie-woogie and pure joie de vivre to the stages of this world, all handmade and without much electronics. Danceable, concert-like and rich in variety.
