Today, the magic dream tree has grown the dream leaf for the children with the story of Mimmelitt, the town rabbit. Together with Moosmutzel, the forest ghost girl, Mimmelitt sings the dream song. As soon as the two of them have greeted the sun with the morning grouchy morning exercise, the big, fat tomcat Leopold arrives. He doesn't want to be alone tonight, because a squeaky secret is on its way!
An iron ghost! He has heard terrible shuddering sounds. Pff, Mimmelitt catches the secret with his left hand! But the magic dream tree and the children have to help. Then the time has come: in the middle of the starry night, the terrible squeaking is getting closer and closer. After a great fright, it turns out that the squeaking secret is Knight Adelbert, a very old, rusty weathercock. He wants nothing more than a bit of lubricating oil, paint and a roof, alas! An adventurous rescue operation begins. Will Mimmelitt and the friends of the Dream Magic Tree join forces to make Adelbert's dream come true?
A poetic and comical story about how not everything that is old belongs in the bin.
