Charming, nostalgic and touching. Vero Nouk sings and plays modern chanson with unwavering naturalness. Performed in an approachable, gentle voice, she accompanies herself on acoustic guitar or autoharp. The content of her French and German songs often deals with irritating emotional states, interpersonal relationships and everyday, bizarre descriptions of situations. The songs are rounded off with a pinch of drama and a humorous wink. Her French-language EP "Verronée" was released in 2023 and was well received by the media. Vero Nouk will be accompanied by Esther Thoben (cello).
The event is supported by the Franco-German Civic Fund.
