in the special Wednesday cinema
Day after day, Carl Kollhoff stands at the back of a bookshop where he carefully wraps books in paper to bring them to his loyal customers in the city. For the taciturn older man, books are his greatest happiness and they serve as his main contact with the outside world. One day, nine-year-old Shasha, who is new in town, joins him on one of his rounds. Schascha quickly wins the hearts of Carl and his regular customers - and not only upsets all their lives, but also makes Carl break out of his own world.
