Lecture and talk at the Federal Archives - Stasi Records Archive Schwerin on October 25, 2025
In the "Saturday in the Archive" series at the Federal Archives - Stasi Records Archive, October is traditionally dedicated to the Peaceful Revolution in the region in the fall of 1989. The events in Schwerin - from the Old Garden to St. Paul's Church - have been examined extensively in recent years. But what happened outside Schwerin? This year, the series of events will focus on the peace movement in the district with a lecture and take a look at events that played an equally significant role in the course of history.
In addition to the lecture, there will be a guided tour of the archive. There is also the opportunity to apply for access to Stasi documents. A valid identity document is required for this.
