Kirch Stück: On Sunday, September 14 at 5.00 pm , we invite you to the farewell concert "Das war's dann wohl" by and with the singer-songwriter
Ingo Barz in our church.
Ingo Barz, the master of soft tones, has been singing for half a century and has performed several times in Kirch Stück to present his latest albums. His lyrical texts make you think or smile; he is gifted in his use of words, with a poetic range from quietly tender to biting criticism. He entertains with sung and spoken word. Incidentally, the singer provides the musical accompaniment himself, using a variety of guitars, harp zither, mandolin, electric organ, accordion, drums and percussion.
His tour poster is symptomatic. The Lühburg singer-songwriter can be seen on it from the dark. The master of quiet tones leaves it open as to whether he disappears completely into the dark.
One of his lyrics reads: "A farewell without big words and fanfare, only the wish that something more than sound and smoke may remain of my verses."
