MATTHIAS PLATZECK at the Atelier-Galerie Bärmich
September is fast approaching and with it the end of our exhibition project. Many interesting stories from 100 years of history were told to us by various artists. In conversations with visitors to the exhibition, I was able to hear personal stories and was also asked many questions about the artistic works.
Art is always in search of universality and can therefore only ask questions about current social and political events. Everyone has to find the answers for themselves.
It is good to hear the story of someone who has dedicated himself to the development of our society in two systems: from the civic-movement years in the GDR to political offices in West German realpolitik and his involvement today, MATTHIAS PLATZECK has played an active role in shaping social life.
I am particularly looking forward to the discussion with him and cordially invite everyone who is interested in this exchange!
The evening will be moderated by Carlo W. Becker, a landscape planner who plays a key role in shaping the world we live in.
