Storm talk about human dignity on Sunday, September 14, at 11 a.m.
A lawyer and a philosopher talk to the audience about human dignity - a concept that shapes our self-image and at the same time is beginning to erode. What does human dignity mean today? And what is at stake?
When the fishermen on Fischland-Darß could not go out in a storm, they stayed ashore and sought conversation. In this tradition, the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop regularly invites people to STURMGESPRÄCH: an open discussion format for times of inner and outer upheaval. This time, the focus is on human dignity - the central concept of our social self-image. Human dignity is the anchor of our Basic Law - and is in danger of losing its grip. What does dignity mean today in law, ethics and everyday life? And what do we risk if we no longer live it together? The lawyer Reinhard Stuth (Chairman of Künstlerhaus Ahrenshoop e.V.) and the philosopher Dr. Asmus Trautsch will discuss this with the audience.
