The St. Nicholas Market at St. John's Monastery in Stralsund brings the oldest Christmas market in the Baltic Sea region back to life.
First mentioned in 1512 as Nikolai Market, a market in the medieval atmosphere of St. John's Monastery in Stralsund is now once again organized by Stralsund associations and artists in honour of the patron saint of the Hanseatic League.
Jugglers, traders, medieval sounds, all kinds of performances, animal entertainment and activities for young and old invite you to travel back in time to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Food and drink will also be provided.
