Prayer and lantern procession followed by a get-together
St. Martin's Day will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2025. St. Martin, the ambassador of Christian charity. Martin of Tours was a Roman officer and, after his military service, Bishop of Tours. He exemplified what Christianity is all about: compassion, sharing and helping those in need.
After the communal prayer, organized by our parish educator Heidrun Fischer, there will be a lantern procession from St. Thomas Church to the Alte Schmiede. There we end the evening with a snack and conversation.
