On 11.11.2025 at 5 pm, the Stralsund City Guard of the Stralsund Traditionsverein e. V. together with the Stralsund parishes invites you to the St. Martin's Festival. The meeting point is in front of St. Mary's Church with a lantern procession, St. Martin's play and St. Martin's market for the benefit of a children's/youth institution.

Give people hope - give light in the darkness!
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Stralsund City Guard of the Stralsund Traditionsverein e. V. together with the Stralsund parishes invites you to the traditional St. Martin's Festival.
The meeting point is at 17:00 in front of St. Mary's Church. From there, a lantern procession leads through the old town to the Alter Markt, where the St. Martin's play recalls the story of St. Martin - from the sharing of the cloak to the message of compassion.
Afterwards, the St. Martin's Market invites you to linger - with treats, music and encounters. The proceeds are donated to a Stralsund children's or youth organization.
An evening on which light, warmth and community can be felt throughout the city.
