Musical reading in the city library
On September 16 at 7 p.m., the Evangelical Academy of the North Church and the City Library invite you to listen to interesting texts and sounds. Actress Elisabeth Kubbutat-Richter and accordionist Susanne Stock will be performing in the Zeughaus hall. Together they fascinate with their instruments, the voice and the accordion.
This year, texts by the unjustly forgotten Hildegard Jahn-Reinke will be performed. In her poems, she lets the quiet tones of life speak. Nature, transience and inner images become signposts in her poetry. Her poetic language invites us to pause and trace the hidden - sensitively and touchingly. A voice that wants to be rediscovered.
