An inspector is coming
On a balmy spring evening in 1912, a young woman chooses
a young woman chooses suicide as a last resort.
An inspector arrives at the home of the industrialist Birling
and his family to make inquiries.
The Birling family are celebrating the engagement of their daughter
the engagement of their daughter Sheila to Gerald, the son
son of Birling's business partner Croft.
It could have been a nice little family celebration.
In the course of the investigation, it becomes clear that not only the
Birling, in whose factory the dead woman once worked,
was involved with this young woman...
