Schwaan Bridge Festival

The 28th Schwaan Bridge Festival will take place from 15 to 17 August 2025 and promises a colourful and varied program for young and old. In close cooperation with the Voss Company and the Gewerbestammtisch Schwaan e.V., this year's festival has been carefully planned to create an unforgettable experience for all visitors.

Friday, August 15th

The festival begins at 18:00 with a colorful hustle and bustle on the fairground, accompanied by a DJ and various showmen. There are numerous offers for the whole family as well as food and drink.

At 6:30 pm, Mayor Mathias Schauer officially opens the 28th Bridge Festival, accompanied by the Tessiner Spielmannszug marching band and the gun salute of the Schwaaner Schützenverein shooting club

Saturday, August 16

From 10:00 to 17:00, an arts and crafts market takes place on the market square with a colorful stage program and regional specialties.

Sunday, August 17

Sunday is traditionally dedicated to the clubs. From 11:00 a.m. there will be various hands-on activities organized by the clubs. The Schwaaner Carneval Association's water program starts at 2 p.m., followed by the annual dragon boat race with a challenge cup and prize money.

The crowning finale of the festival is a firework display at 22:30, followed by a party until 23:30.
