With musicians from the Baltic Sea Philharmonic
Sahad, founded by singer Sahad Sarr, impressively combines Malian blues, Afrobeat, rock and jazz. The result is a very unique music that is deeply rooted in the musical traditions of Senegal. The internationally recognized band has not only crossed the borders of Africa, but has also been celebrated in Europe, North America and North Africa. For the concert at the Usedom Music Festival, the band will be working with musicians from the Baltic Sea Philharmonic. In several joint workshops, the musical exchange between the Global South and the Baltic Sea region will be brought to life in sound.
