The Rostock Art Prize 2025 was announced for graphic art. The jury has nominated the following candidates for the prize from the 43 applications: Christoph Knitter (Rostock), Giacomo Orth (Bad Doberan), Hannes Schützler (Qualitz) and Pauline Stopp (Greifswald).

The Kulturstiftung Rostock e.V., the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock and the Kunsthalle Rostock are awarding the Rostock Art Prize for the 19th time in 2025. This is once again made possible by the generous support of the insurance company PROVINZIAL NORD. The aim of the prize is to recognize and promote artists who live in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or whose biography and work have a connection to the region.

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2025 from 4 p.m. in the Kunsthalle Rostock.
