Reopening of the Schwerin State Museum
On 30 October, the Staatliches Museum Schwerin will reopen its doors after modernization!
At 3 pm, the Director of the State Palaces, Gardens and Art Collections M-V, Dr Pirko Kristin Zinnow, will officially reopen the Staatliches Museum Schwerin together with a representative of the state government.
Variety artists and walking acts spread a festive atmosphere in the Old Garden, while the choir of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Theatre rings in the reopening on the grand staircase.
Inside the museum, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with the chamber orchestra "ensemble reflector" create a special listening experience in the exhibition rooms, and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Theatre brings art to life in front of selected works from the collection. The museum's curators will be happy to provide visitors with information and inspiration.
On the day of the reopening, the museum will be open until 10 p.m. - a wonderful opportunity to discover the newly designed rooms and the art in a festive atmosphere.
