Cordial invitation to the reading festival in the Stralsund City Library on the eve of the nationwide reading aloud day: 20.11.2025 from 6 p.m.
In cooperation with the city library, the Stralsund Literature Circle is taking part in the nationwide Read Aloud Day, which officially takes place on November 21, 2025. On the evening before Reading Aloud Day, starting at 6 p.m., members of the literature circle will read excerpts from books that have been part of past reading sessions. Book lovers can look forward to the following novels:
- 18:15 "Zauberberg 2" by Heinz Strunk
- 19:00 "Stealing Horses" by Per Petterson
- 19:45 "Die Liebe im Ernstfall" by Daniela Krien
- and a surprise novel at around 20:15
The books will be presented one after the other with short breaks, so that those interested can also join in during the evening. These breaks can be used to talk about the books presented, the authors, the literary circle, the Friends of the City Library or for personal book recommendations. To round off the evening, there will be non-alcoholic drinks, a glass of wine and small snacks during the breaks.
The event is free of charge. Registration is not required.
