A children's play based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale by Nora Schumacher

What a cheek! Here comes the rabbit, with nothing better to do than throw unkindness around again. Mauli, the mole, is indignant because this time it's his new friend, the good-natured hedgehog, who's not only supposed to have a big belly, but also legs that are far too short and crooked. Mauli is furious: if the hedgehog wants to, he's as fast as lightning! So how about a race between the rabbit and the hedgehog? If the long-eared hedgehog wins, he gets Mauli's beloved turnip field. If he loses, he has to be nice to everyone in future. The bet is on! For the vain hare and Nickel, his rabbit companion, victory seems to be a mere formality - but they haven't reckoned with the ingenuity of Hedgehog's girlfriend, Igelinchen ...
