Roll up your sleeves and get going! Together with you, we'll spruce up the zoo.
We want to remove the last traces of fall and winter and ring in the warm seasons. We need your support for this!
All hard-working helpers will receive free admission to the zoo on March 16(pre-registration required) and will be invited to lunch. The minimum age for participation in the spring clean-up is 16 years. The meeting point is at 10:00 am at the main entrance. Here you will be divided into work groups and then receive instructions for your work area. From raking leaves, cleaning paths and edges, preparing fences, cleaning buildings to planting and attaching new enclosure signs, there is something for every helping hand.
Procedure:
10:00 a.m. Admission (meeting point main entrance) & grouping
10:30 a.m. Briefing & start of work
13:00 Closing time and lunch for all helpers
All helpers must register by March 10 by e-mail at sternitzke@zoo-schwerin.de, stating a telephone number and current address. Please bring your own work or gardening gloves.
