From September 19 to 28, 2025, the "Dementia Week" will take place nationwide with World Alzheimer's Day on September 21. Grevesmühlen is also taking part in the themed week with various activities.
Public dementia training course for those affected, relatives and interested parties
What is dementia? How do I deal with it? What can I do as a relative? Cindy Köbcke (alternative practitioner for psychotherapy, trauma therapist and GeriCoach) and Dr. Britta Borgwald (AWO, Project Coordinator Helferkreis Demenz, GeriCoach) will train interested participants on the most important questions and experiences.

Get-together in the parish garden, opposite the church, with a get-together and picnic (everyone brings their own food) from 2.30 pm
Following the dementia training, there will be a get-together in the parish garden. For those affected, relatives and interested parties. This can be combined with a picnic, to which everyone can bring something to eat and drink.
