An evening with songs by and stories about Leonard Cohen
An evening of songs by and stories about Leonard Cohen
Leonard Cohen (1934 - 2016) was many things: Jewish and Buddhist, musician and writer, introverted heartthrob and intellectual poet. He wrote and sang about freedom and love, death and religion. And he created songs that should actually be declared world cultural heritage: "Bird on a Wire", "Suzanne", "Hallelujah".
Lutz Debus and Holger Jenrich move through the artist's life, making music and telling stories. A tribute to Leonard Cohen with songs, lyrics and personal memories.
Lutz Debus, social pedagogue and musician, lives in Dortmund
Holger Jenrich, trained daily newspaper editor, author and publicist, lives in Hanover and Lüchow-Dannenberg
