Tatyana's crush on the worldly Eugene Onegin does not go down well with her. Watching him flirt with her younger sister at her name day only intensifies the pain of rejection. Unfortunately, Onegin's behavior has fatal consequences for his friend Lensky. When, after many years, he finally feels ready for love, he is rejected by Tatyana and driven into the abyss once again.
