Pop, musicals, classical music, film music, world music and more - concert series by the Carl Orff Northwest Mecklenburg District Music School and the town of Grevesmühlen.
On Friday, September 26, 2025, at 7:00 pm, the fourth season of the popular "Grevesmühlen Excellence Concerts" will begin with a festive kick-off. For this special occasion, dedicated members of the Kreismusikschule's faculty have put together an atmospheric surprise program that combines musical diversity and artistic passion. In addition to world-famous classics, guests can expect a varied repertoire of pop and musicals - performed on piano, saxophone, vocals and other instruments.
The concert series has long since established itself as an integral part of the city's cultural life: Around 100 visitors regularly accept the invitation to the free events. The "Grevesmühlen Excellence Concerts" offer a stage for the best ensembles from the district music school - consisting of talented pupils and experienced teachers. A multifaceted mixture of well-known, popular and special pieces of music from classical, pop, jazz, musical, world music and other genres is presented.
