Since 2004, the nationwide Read Aloud Day has been a joint initiative of DIE ZEIT, Stiftung Lesen and Deutsche Bahn Stiftung, Germany's largest reading aloud festival and a public signal to inspire children and adults about the importance of reading aloud every year on the third Friday in November. We are also taking part this year and reading the story "Elephants don't cry" with the picture book cinema. Age recommendation: Preschool
