Concert by the Plater Gospel Choir "Oh happy Day" on October 11, 5.30 p.m. in the Kirch Stück church
Kirch Stück: The Förderverein der Kirche zu Kirch Stück e.V. invites you to a gospel concert in the church of St. Georg on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 7.30 pm. We will be hosting the PLATER GOSPELCHOR under the direction of Dr. Eckhard Kuhrt.
Under the motto "Oh Happy Day", you will hear genuine, spirited gospel music. Anyone who wants to experience pure gospel should not miss this concert. The atmospheric, varied program with cheerful but also contemplative tones will give you the opportunity to sing along, clap your hands, move or simply relax. Information is also provided on the meaning and origins of gospel music. The choir's repertoire ranges from Afro-gospel to spirituals and pop songs.
The PLATER GOSPELCHOR is made up of over 30 motivated singers who have already inspired and moved audiences in many concerts.
"Join us on October 11 on a journey into the world of gospel!" Says the choir's director Dr. Eckhard Kuhrt.
Admission is free; at the end of the event, we will be collecting donations to cover the gospel choir's fees and to fund an accessible access route to the church's main entrance.
