From September 19 to 28, 2025, the "Dementia Week" will take place nationwide with World Alzheimer's Day on September 21. Grevesmühlen is also taking part in the themed week with various activities.

A - Quiet hour in the museum
On this day, as part of Dementia Week, the museum opens its doors to you and your loved ones especially on its day off - and you have the opportunity to explore the museum on your own on this day and experience it in peace without other visitors or loud noises. Book an individual hour at a time that suits you between 8 am and 5 pm. The museum director will also be happy to answer your questions in person (please specify when booking).
B - Coffee rendezvous
Or you can sit together with the museum director over coffee and cake, have a chat and explore the exhibition together. The program is designed for approx. 1.5 to 2 hours. It is particularly suitable for groups. Interested parties from care homes and day care facilities are very welcome.
