Lecture by Dr. Margot Käßmann, former Chair of the EKD Council
The Reformation is not simply a historical event that took place more than five hundred years ago. Rather, Martin Luther's power of speech continues to shape us today. In addition, individual conscience has gained significance with him - and this is often in demand today. After all, Luther's anti-Judaism had serious negative consequences, which pose major challenges for us today. It is always worthwhile to face up to the ideas of the Reformation.
