The STiC Theater's new season kicks off with a special highlight: a German-Polish workshop entitled "Neighbours | Sąsiedzi". Young people from Stralsund and Stagard will develop a dance performance within a week and are already looking forward to presenting it in public at the end.
Our German-Polish workshop, sponsored by the Kommunalgemeinschaft Europaregion Pomerania e.V. and its small project fund "Strengthening Trust", is about the relationship between the two countries, especially from the perspective of young people. Also with a view to the past and present of this special neighborhood.
Our guests come from Stargard, Stralsund's twin town in Poland. Together with the young Germans from the Schulzentrum am Sund, they will spend a week working on a dance performance in order to approach the topic artistically and discuss it in depth. The curiosity and openness towards each other was palpable from the very beginning.
