The Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Environmental and Nature Conservation Foundation and the M-V Regional Association of Friends of the Earth Germany (BUND M-V) cordially invite all nature-loving citizens to take part in the Green Belt campaign.
On September 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the motto is "Clear the Green Belt" - with pruning shears and gloves against scrub encroachment!
The aim of the campaign is to keep the landscape along the Green Belt near Herrnburg open - a valuable section of the former inner-German border strip, which today serves as a unique habitat for numerous endangered animal and plant species.
Following the work, an outdoor picnic is planned.
Please bring a spade, pruning shears and gloves if available and wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
