Alarm on the coasts: the intelligent seagulls are getting ever closer to humans and are becoming ever bolder. Especially because their habitat is being taken away from them. First they sit uninvolved on the roofs of popular snack bars, then the greedy birds rely on the surprise effect and attack from behind. They use effective hunting strategies to catch the best morsels. This saves them energy. The effort required to ambush unsuspecting tourists is much less for the clever omnivores than hunting smaller birds or fish.
