Reading at the Waren (Müritz) Town History Museum
Reading with the author Micha H. Echt
Spain 1943: A conspiratorial meeting between the German and Western secret services ends with a bold plan. A few months later, Hans von Grauwitz, a German art historian living in Scotland, travels back to the German Reich. On behalf of the British MI6, he is to secure the Berlin coronation crowns for the proclamation of the German Emperor and bring the Russian Amber Room from Königsberg to the West for the future Empress.
As soon as he arrives in Königsberg, an amber-obsessed museum director, a beautiful woman in thrall to National Socialism and the henchmen of the Secret State Police await him.
Von Grauwitz ends up in a spiral of emotion and betrayal and is faced with the recurring question of what weighs more: his word or love?
Micha H. Echt describes himself alternately as a camping maker, North German, reindeer or dreamer... and of course as an author. He has been writing poems and stories since 2010 and his first novel was published in 2012. "Der CaraWAHN kommt selten allein" sold thousands of copies. His second major novel "MI-SIX Operation Bernsteinzimmer" is also very successful. Experience a legendary and mysterious chapter of history in a reading with the author.
