Learn calligraphy - course for beginners

In a small group, we take a first trip into the world of ink, into the history of writing and the art of writing through the ages and cultures. You will learn the basics of European, Islamic and Asian calligraphy. I will introduce you to various historical and modern scripts and show you different writing techniques, give you tips on writing materials and tools, papers, nibs, etc.

Everyone receives a comprehensive booklet I have created with theoretical and practical knowledge, two alphabet templates (humanist cursive and swash cursive) to take home, as well as a holder, a ribbon nib and a small bottle of black writing ink.

After some initial practice with the alphabet, you will write your own little calligraphy!

All the materials we need will be provided by me - all you need to bring is curiosity.
