On Thursday, 20.11.2025 at 19:30, Prof. Mario Niemann from the Historical Institute will once again read from his book "Constant Change - Agriculture and Rural Society in Mecklenburg from 1900 to 2000" by popular demand.
This time, Prof. Niemann will take us back to the time of the German Empire from 1900 to 1914, covering topics ranging from the political situation in the two Grand Duchies of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz to the situation of agricultural workers and the modernization of agriculture and its production.
Due to the great response, the event will once again take place in the manor house in 18059 Wahrstorf. Thanks to the Gemeindeverein Pölchow e. V. for allowing us to use the large hall without any complications.
