On 7.9.2025 at 19:00 the trio TRØSTESANG will play in the church of St. Godehard in Kessin.
The three Rostock musicians Thomas Braun (flugelhorn + violin), Karl Scharnweber (piano + harmonium) and Enrique Marcano-Gonzales (bass), who each work in very different musical projects and are at home there, have found each other with their shared passion for Scandinavian music and joined forces to form a trio.
"Trøstesang" (consolation singing) is derived from the title of the same name by the Norwegian composer Gjermund Larsen and describes the musical effect and dedication of this ensemble.In a delicately coordinated interplay, the three musicians find and complement each other in a wonderful way and thus present subtly cool and emotional music by other Scandinavian composers as well as Karl Scharnweber's own works.
