How is news created, who decides on topics and what mechanisms are at work in the background? In his book Inside Tagesschau, journalist Alexander Teske provides insights into Germany's best-known news program. Teske worked in various media for over 30 years, including six years as an editor at Tagesschau.
The reading not only offers exciting insights, but also space for critical questions and discussion - a contribution to strengthening media literacy and democratic dialog.
The event is funded by the federal program "Live Democracy!". Organizers are the alliance #unteilbar Neustrelitz and the Kulturrat Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
