Parisian cab driver Charles (Dany Boon) is having a pretty bad day. He is deep in debt, in danger of losing his driver's license due to numerous traffic violations, and his marriage is in danger of breaking up. But then Madeleine (Line Renaud), an elegant, resolute 92-year-old woman, gets into his cab. At her age, she assumes that this could be her last cab ride at any time, so she asks Charles to make a few stops on the way to the nursing home: She wants to see once again those places that were important in her life. Charles, initially annoyed and grumpy, drives off. With each stop, Madeleine's amazing past unfolds and Charles becomes increasingly fascinated by her stories. He, in turn, tells her about his troubles and Madeleine would not be Madeleine if she didn't have a sense of humor and wisdom for Charles. What begins as a normal cab ride turns into a profound adventure, like life itself...
