Combined tour of the architectural gem of Neustrelitz and the current special exhibition of the German Foundation for Monument Protection

At the same time, the combined tour introduces you to the interactive and multimedia traveling exhibition of the German Foundation for Monument Protection "Love or Burden! Building site monument". A monument is always a construction site: it is modified, criticized, preserved, spruced up and even demolished. For some, monuments are a home, a landmark and a cultural delight. For others, they are a thorn in the side: too old, too uncomfortable, too expensive! Opinions are divided on the subject of monument protection.
This multi-award-winning exhibition takes an unusual look at the controversial subject of monument protection and provides answers to many questions, erroneous assumptions and common prejudices. Whether you are young or experienced, a monument expert or a skeptic - the exhibition awakens the spirit of research and discovery, as there are exciting things to try out, touch and participate in at every station.
